Stampede Stainless S Darkening After Cooks?

Finally went on an ingredients search on the Member's Mark cleaner, it's main ingredient (after water) is sodium hydroxide, so it is a caustic designed to dissolve proteins/fats/food products.
 
Has anyone tried one of those Mr Clean erasers on the outside of the grill?
 
Yea it’s a smoker. Smoke stains are like a badge of honor of many good cooks. I didn’t buy jewelry, I bought a smoker. I clean the wet drips and flakey deposits on the lid and sides when it starts to show but as long as it’s not disgusting looking with sauces and grease dripping from it your good.
