This question has plagued pellet grill users since the beginning of time.Have about 2 inch of snow sitting on top of my RT-700. Should l sweep it off or just let it stay on the smoker until melted away?
But if the pellets are properly lubricated the wet won’t affect them. This question has plagued pellet grill users since the beginning of time.

I'd suggest taking the cover off before starting the grillJust got the snow off the RT-700 and everything looks good. Will be putting the cover back on later today, before the next snow storm coming in on Friday night. And do think l should fire it up to melt the rest of the snow before put the cover back on?
