Hey there guys, I did a quick search here on the forum and didn't find any results. Does anyone here have any experience smoking oysters? I love smoked oysters, be it from a can or fresh homemade. However, I have never made them. I found a few recipes on Google, but I wanted to check here. If you have a recipe please share it here. Thanks!

I’ll be doing my 2nd try at fresh oysters this coming Sunday.
I have a new Outset Oyster cast iron cooking/serving tray.
First time I did them a few weeks back I used a muffing baking tray and hit them with some Butter/garlic mix to cook in, then topped them off with shredded parmesan. Going to use the same ingredients on Sunday. They were delicious,
Outset Oyster tray is in the pic

Guys, I have to be honest this entire cook was awesome.
Shrimp, oysters, mussels, clams on the RT 700.
I also did London broil, salmon, and shrimp skewers on my blackstone flat top. Man, what a feast today, the smoked cream cheese was insane.

Pretty much followed Ash Kicking bbq’s and Texas Brew and BBQ.
Hit the CC blocks with a little BBQ rub, 250 degrees for about 1 hour 45 min. A little oil in the cast iron.
