Anyone use the sear grates to crisp up the skin on chicken thighs after cooking on the grill?
ThanksThere was a lot of discussion a couple months ago on crispy wings. Looks like the consensus is flouring with a fractional amount of baking powder or baking soda.

I made a mix of baking powder, magic rub, and paprika and put it on the chicken. I put the chicken back in the fridge, uncovered to help the skin dry. It will go on at 5, i'll see how it goes. Hope it stops raining, but I Q, rain or shine. The meat must go on!Don't know why I haven't given thought to baking powder on thighs...sure works on wings. I'll give it a try
