Yesterday i bought beef cubes for shish kebab and marinated them over night. Also had 3 chicken breasts. Cooked them on the sear grate (turned sideways) because the Kebab rods were too long for the Bull. Chicken was great, the steak, so-so. Pretty sure I bought the wrong meat. It was seared nicely but kind of tough. Made it easier to eat if you growled while you chewed. ? ??

They sure look good

Grocery store butcher depts. will often use round roast to cube up for kabobs...…...a chewy cut at that size. I don't often recommend chemicals, but meat tenderizer might be a good choice in this case.

Next time I'm going to buy a well marbled steak and do the cutting myself. I thought of MSG but didn't have any at home. We had the same bottle of Adolph's Meat Tenderizer for
20 years, think it got thrown out. ??
