Stampede RT-590 All Weather Smoke Vents

Is rec teq still selling the all weather vents for the RT-590? I know that they were out of stock, but now I can't even find them listed on the recteqgrills.com web site. Just wondering if they have been discontinued. Also if anyone has them on their grill, are they worth getting?

I have them on my 340. They are great. Make sure you put rtv sealant on them right away. I did not and it was a bear to clean the smoke marks off the drum.

I asked Support, and the response was that they hope to have them in stock some time in November.

I was going to get some for sure ...but... I've done a tri-tip in 30 mph sustained winds and a brisket in an early morn. downpour.
Now I don't even worry.
Open vents work just fine.
Rec-teq's vent covers I've heard are kinda flimsy anyway.
I might rethink if the weather forecast showed an extended heavy rain.

Been my experience, that RT removes a for sale item from website when the supply is exhausted. Then reposts when they get more inventory. I suspect they to this to prevent them having to keep track of backorders.
