Interesting. Not specifically an answer to your question, but... When I purchased my RT-590, the one type of pellets they told me to avoid at all costs, were any that had charcoal in them. Maybe they burn too hot, or smolder too long, but I was told to "avoid like the plague". I recently purchased a Bullseye, but it is still in the box, so I am not sure if the same is true, but I was warned strongly enough, that I will not use charcoal pellets, or pellets containing any charcoal, any of my RTs. (again, not an answer to your specific question, but I would have felt horrible if I didn't share what I was told)
Tried them out yesterday. Not impressed. Not the charcoal flavor I was hoping for.I bought some today. Will report back when I get a chance to use them.

No charcoal flavor at all.No charcoal flavor or not the flavor you were looking for? Notice any difference in the cook temps or times to heat up/recover?
No charcoal flavor at all.
They held temp and they may heat up quicker.
I did crank it up after the cook, and hit 540 fairly quickly.
Don't tell anyoneWow.. I guess I'll stick to the Kettle for my charcoal cooks.
Try a bag for yourself and let me know what you think.Wow.. I guess I'll stick to the Kettle for my charcoal cooks.
I mixed mine with other pellets. Better than throwing them away.Tried them for the first time last night and had serious back burn in the auger
