That's not a bad price, but the problem is often times there are damaged parts inside the box. With the zero transferable warranty policy it might be better for you to open inspect and put it together. Recteq would give you anything needed to make it right. Just my .02

There might be a workaround with the warranty if you contact RecTeq and ask them how the warranty works if you are gifting a RecTeq to someone. Sell it and tell them it was a gift...

If you know the actual rules for gifts it might be an effective workaround that could help you sell it. It's a ridiculously expensive smoker if it doesn't come with the factory warranty.
