Recently pulled my RT-340 out for the season and when running it up pellets weren’t feeding.

Opened up the hopper to make sure there was no jam. After removing the hopper completely I found that the auger motor fan wasn’t spinning. I disconnected the motor from the auger screw and the auger moved freely so def not a jam. Auger motor wasn’t spinning nor was the fan when I check it on the test modes. I called RT and they recommended a new auger motor. Just replaced it and still seeing the same issue.

I notice when cycling through the test modes there’s an audible click on the blower/igniter but not on the auger test. Could this possibly be controller issue??

I’ve never had any issues with the grill prior to this.

that’s all that’s left, right? Go back to recteq and get more parts. They’re pretty good about sending replacements. You’ll be up and running soon.

Possible damaged wire or plug?
