Hello, everyone!

New owner of a Flagship - everything is great so far!

Question on the app: Is there a real time chart viewable on the app? When I look at the app (I'm cooking a butt now) I see the grill temp and the probe temp. I can go to "my cook" and add a static chart.

What I'd like to see is a "live" chart when I look at the app while cooking. I'm used to that with my Flame Boss app I use on my kamado cooker. See attached screenshot. Am I missing something obvious?

The obvious thing once you’ve examined everything is that you need a 3rd party thermometer. Most of us have gotten over it and shelled out the money. Lots of threads about your options, also check the deals/sales threads.

I can just use my Flame Boss for that. Thanks; just wanted to check if I was missing something obvious on the Recteq app, but apparently I'm not.

Like this when it does work?

I did get two alerts today. One 5 minutes after I started the grill telling me it was heating and the second one 20 minutes late telling me my grill was cooling off. I had opened the lid to clean the grates and by the time of the alert the unit was and had been back up to temp. The RT-700 works as advertised if we forget about the advertised remote stat and WiFi alerts, graph, etc. in even near real time. Cheers 🥂

No servers. Totally unnecessary.
How else will RT know what to try and sell you via spam e-mails if they can’t monitor the cook data passing through the servers? Oh yeah, I forgot; most of the time, there’s not a lot of data going through the RT servers.

They could still collect data and do a phone home from the app. Just leave the grill out of it.
I don’t know what info the Tuya app may be collecting but at least there’s no server involved.

Agree but I doubt they can figure out how to go direct from grill to locale device app, so at least scalable servers would improve things or one might hope🤔

The “30-Day History” in the upper left corner of that app screen is how you access the real-time chart.
