It won't reach the high-temperature setting in summer when the outside temperature is above 90 Degrees F.Overshooting or undershooting?
What model do you have? What temp are you setting to? And are you saying the unit only gets to 90 degrees F? Or 90 degrees below what you’ve set the temp to? It would be helpful to know what the difference actually is.
The only recommendation I have without significantly more detail is to check your chamber temp probe and make sure it isn’t bent or otherwise touching some other metal that could act as a heat sink. Or gunk on it so thick it can accurately determine what the temp really is.
Um, I know RT has new models but never heard of a 900, so I don’t think I can offer anything here.Model 900. when the weather outside air temperature is above 90 degrees F, the chamber temperature does not reach 212 degrees.

That’s two this week.Hmmmm. “New member” OP shows “RT-680” as his grill model and posts a question about a “Model 900.” One model hasn’t been made in several years and the other never was—at least, by RT. Something seems amiss here.
AI should stand for Absolutely Insane. Pretty scary that this is the technology that is supposed to drive our future. Kinda like old school politics. That’s two this week.

Sorry for the type. It's a 590.I’m thinking that the solution to the OP’s problem is to enclose and air-condition his grilling area. That way, he could keep the ambient temperature low and the Model 900 would function properly. Just a thought.![]()
Pfft post 3 pictures of a fire hydrant to prove you’re human…Sorry for the type. It's a 590.
