Trailblazer Probe “Port” Variance

I had a small 3lb butt on with both probs A & B inserted very close together. Readings were 6-7 degrees different. I disconnected probe B entirely. I Revoved the probe connected to A and placed it in B temperature was 6 degrees different. I moved connection between A&B and consistently got a 6 degree difference. Do I have a bad “port”?

Check the Nut holding the port. Often times they are loose and once tightened give a correct reading.

It's also recommended to calibrate the probes with another trusted device. Once you've done that, mark which probe was in A and B - the calibration is specific to the combination of probe + port.

Thanks guys, I checked the nut of both and they were tight. I will calibrate and go from there.
