Pellets won't feed on boths sides of my RT-700

Yeah.. mine does it also.. don't know why. I just check before each cook and try to level it out.

It's due to the rotation of the auger.

Yup mine does the same thing.

So thinking about this more I have never actually let mine get low enough to see if it would ever create an issue such as one side not making it to the auger at some point.

Has anyone ever had a problem with that or will it run all the way out on both sides if you let it?

More of just a nice to know.

Gravity tends to keep things in place it's the physics that confuse people and make them have issues with how it works.

I think we need more information to better assess the situation. Please give us an accurate count of the pellets on each side of the hopper.

When one side gets low enough then gravity will correct the situation. Sometimes I think some people look for a solution to a nonexistent problem.

Only if gravity is the same on both sides. We need more research before proceeding with that assumption.

I have the same....phenomenon. The whole at the bottom is like Badger; He don’t care.
