Bullseye Pellets for Bullseye

Are most people using the same pellets on the Bullseye that you use on your smoker or do you just use the cheapest you can get?

I use the cheapest pellets I can find in my Bull so if I had a Bullseye I would be using the same cheap pellets.

I use the same pellets, but one important consideration for me is the amount of ash produced. I’m not yet totally convinced of what I’m about to suggest, but I am suspecting that the Bullseye blows more ash that what my Bull does.

Bullseye does blow as much ash as the Bull. The fans are the same. As far as pellets go, the Bullseye will burn them all. I live close to Rec Teq and generally buy the Ultimate mix, however, I love the PitBoss comp blends and use those who I run out of the Ultimate mix. A lot of people like Lumberjack pellets. I have never used them. There are a lot of choices for pellets, just find what you like and use them.

I'm very happy with the Lumber Jack pellets. Started with the OHC Supreme blend which was excellent, and tomorrow I'll be smoking a pork butt with the MHC Competition blend.

I've tried the Traeger pellets from Costco and didn't care for them much.
