Grill(s) owned
  1. Backyard Beast 1000
just purchased the RT1000 yesterday. Did the burin procedure last night up to 400. Got ribs ready this morning. Set temp at 225. Lit quickly then temperature started to drop and nothing fans blowing is all.. thanks for any information

Exactly what happened to me on my beast. Ultimately, it turned out to be the pellets I was using were too long and jamming the auger. There is a string of posts in the forum regarding this.
I ended up changing pellet manufacturer to Bear Mountain and Lumber Jack and problem solved. Also, there is a plate in the smoker bottom to access the auger. It was recommended I loosen them slightly.
Hope this helps.
