yes it is. i love it. its the exact same level as the grates and it makes wrapping a bunch of butts a breeze because you slide straight out and straight back in. i keep my smoke tube, sear kit, wood chips, cleaning tools, foil, butcher paper, and paper towels in it aswell as a few other random things. it was pretty cheap also, 129 i think from home depot and the wood top is an accessory they sell for about $20 for it at the store.

I say what feels right to you is right
You do need to straighten them up a bit .... that's why they "look" wrong
Mine are upside down for a reason .... and that's the way they'll stay
If you look at them .... they are more of a Handle that way

Are the windows screened (it looks like it)? Can you hang out at night without being eaten alive?
That LED in the ceiling would attract everything in the neighborhood.
