I got a 4yr old RT-340 that I’ve cleaned up and cooking on it for the 1st time today. I started grilling with a Weber vertical smoker and charcoal grill years ago. Today cooking a Cuban Pork Butt. I’ll post the outcome later

Greetings and welcome! You are not that far from us to the northwest from the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Curious about the grease box-something you purchased or did it come with the recteq?

Me, too! My RT-340 doesn’t have anything like that and I don’t recall any RT option available at the time I bought it that would look like that. Intriguing!

Welcome to the forum, @Dansha; glad to have you join us here.

looks like its from thegreasebox.com .
It does, indeed! Good find. That’s a very nice upgrade to the RT-340. If I used mine more often, I would definitely consider adding one.

My MAK 2-Star General has a similar, but built-in grease drawer that takes a foil mini loaf pan. Works great and is so simple to dispose of grease; out with the old foil pan and in with the new!

It is a grease box available from their site or Amazon. I had to attach via self tapper screws on the rt340, but most grills require nothing but attaching over the grease drain. https://thegreasebox.com/
