Labor Day Weekend 2022 Cooks

Late to the party, but I did St. Louis ribs three ways (dry Memphis, Stubb's BBQ, & blueberry habanero glaze), pork & beans, and a block of cream cheese with everything seasoning, and one with raspberry jam and prosciutto.

Not on Labor Day, but the Saturday before for NC State's first football game.

I get chuck ribs at Costco. I have to talk to the meat department guys to get them from the cooler. They get the whole rack then cut them into different sizes but are glad to sell them whole. They come in a two pack but they’ll sell you just one if that’s what you want. Just ask for the whole. Rack beef ribs.

Personally I prefer plate ribs over chuck ribs because they are fattier/juicier. It’s a little like flat vs point meat on a brisket. Plate ribs are a little harder to find unless you have a butcher shop near you. They are also more expensive.
