RT-1250 I get to test Customer Service

Minor problem just popped up…literally
I’ve only had my RT-1250 for a week and a half
As I was cleaning the grate I noticed that a weld broke on one of the two double support ribs
The grate rib on the top side is sticking up about 1/2 inch
The grate is still useable but the grill grates won’t lay flat on that end of the grate
The grate was the last thing I expected to have a problem with
I’ll call them in the morning and hopefully they’ll send me a new one under warranty

That sucks to hear. I'm sure they will take care of you and send you a new one. Let us know what they say!

Mine did the same thing. I emailed them on a saturday. They replied on Monday and I had a box with two new grates on my porch on Wednesday. Great service.

Well I got an email from RecTec around 8:00 this evening
Their sending me a new lower grate for my RT-1250 and I should have it in a couple of days
They certainly lived up to their reputation for great customer service
I couldn’t be happier
