Bull How To Relocate The Bull Ring on a RecTec RT-700 (Video)

Hey RT Fam! I made a quick video for you guys explaining how to relocate your Bull Ring (Towel ring) to your front folding shelf!

After purchasing a front shelf, your bull ring (towel ring) becomes hidden and not easily accessible anymore. In this video I show you how to relocate it to the middle of the front folding shelf!
Materials needed:
*3mm Hex key (90 degree angle/L shaped Allen key works best)
*Drill
*Automatic Center Punch
* 7/32 Drill bit (Preferably Cobalt but Titanium works)
*Cutting oil/WD-40/Lubricant
* Clear Tape/ masking tape
*Safety goggles
*Patience ??

I just seen in one of the RT FB groups the Bull's ring is used to hold an umbrella. His Bull was too hot.

Hi Keleent,

Thanks for this! I just got my bull today and was trying to do this while assembling everything. I noticed you mentioned using a 3mm hex key. I have an allen key, but the space between the bottom of the barrel and the location of the bull ring hex bolts is too tight to get the allen wrench in there?

Not sure if your grill had more space, and they changed something to where its tighter fit on mine than previous 700’s? Anyway, if you recall anything else you did to help you get those hex bolts out please share!

Removed our Ring prior to assembly, and moved it over to the Side Shelf
Now it's always available for use
