welcome! Sounds like she is a keeper for sure. Enjoy the pit and the folks on this site. Grate people here.
Almost 28yrs of marriage, so I finally know all the secrets to get what I wanted, haha. Only thing after looking at the grill is it’s looks to be very tight to smoke beer can chicken as the height may be a challenge.

There's still time for that! Thanks for the idea, never had smoked chili but next week I'm off all week... so going to try that! I did thick bacon for the initial cook - came out different from inside, but in a good way!
Yesterday, smoked a small brisket, baby back ribs, crawfish boudin, 3 chicken breast and 3 potatoes. Brisket was juicy, flavor pretty good; ribs came out awesome and flavor perfect; boudin smoked was out of this world; potatoes were great; chicken being eating tonight, so can't wait to see how the flavor came out.
Being off all next week, time for smoking anything and everything to have some fun!
