I’ve been smoking on an RT-300 for the past 6 years.
Buddy talked me into getting one and I love my little 300!

Flash forward to last week. A coworker wanted to get her husband a smoker .
I recommended getting a RecTeq. Asked her what her budget was for a smoker and She said she didn’t have a budget.
She ended up getting the RT-1250 with the added 340 and the pellet bundle!
Her pallet of goodness arrived a few days ago.
I bought the 340 from her for $200!!

Put it together after work and did the initial burn in last night.
Loving the stainless of the 340!
Looks super easy to keep clean.
My Antique 300 has most of the paint burnt off!
Tried for 2 hours last night to get the 340 to sync with my WiFi, no luck yet.
5ghz is turned off on my router so I know I’m only using 2.4ghz.
I’ll try again today once it warms up a bit.

Welcome aboard.. can't wait to see all your years of experience come to life here (y).

Good luck with the wifi.. you can also try to move far away with your phone just to be sure even through you say 5ghz is off. Also. try forgetting the wifi & add it at that time just as a sanity check.

Yes I did do the forget the WiFi step, multiple times to make sure I was entering the correct password.
I disabled the 5ghz on my Linksys router app. I checked to make sure it doesn’t show up as a network on my phone. Red LED on the 350 was blinking fast also.
I also deleted the RecTeq app and reinstalled it to make sure I had the newest version. I have v2.04
Gonna search this forum to see if I can find any more tips to get it to work.

Getting ready to give WiFi another try this morning.
Edit:
figured out the wifi issue.
My iPhone was set to show my wifi as a private address. Unchecked the setting on my iPhone and the 340 connected right up!
