Gravity feed smokers

Anyone here have one of these? They were pushed as the new frontier in smokers. Do they live up to the hype?

Hey @RattleR hope all is well.. Yes.. still have but with all the options around me she doesn't come out of the shed much these days. I am a fan for sure and holding onto her.

While I like my Rt1250 and rt340(I think that’s the model) I’ve been secretly researching gravity feed smokers… I do miss the flavor my webersmokymountain provided me…. So charcoal and wood is what I love most…. Gravity smokers provide the flavor I desire without the hassle the WSM had cleaning, Setting up etc. I’m making room in my patio for one of those large box type gravity smokers… I got some RT pellet smokers for sale on the cheap! I’m interested in owner info if any of you want to chime in! Pete

@Pete6737, if you don’t mind, can you provide some information on the brand/model vertical smoker you will be adding? Now, I’m certainly not considering one yet, but inquiring minds would like to know.
