RT-1070 GMG pizza oven attachment for 1070

If you are wondering, the GMG large pizza oven doesn’t really work on the 1070. The heat stack isn’t long enough. To have the pizza oven resting on the lip of the grill, which is needed to get a pizza in-out, there is about a 3 inch gap between the fire pot and the stack.

I’ve see the other say the GMG pizza oven works with other RT grills, but 1070 is a no go.

And I am working on finding a way to modify it to bridge the gap. I have actually used it without the extension and it works but not nearly as effective. I am ordering a stainless reducer - something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-St...+reducer+weld+end+fitting,aps,196&sr=8-1&th=1

BTW @Redraider3403 by my calculations from some trial and error already, the gaps is closer to 4", ~3.75"
The biggest issue I have had is getting something that will fit over the flange tube that sits in the fireboat and long enough and small enough to fit inside the opening at the bottom of the pizza oven.
