I'm excited. Everyone's done them but me it seems. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.
 
Butts are the hardest thing to screw up... When it gets to around 200 internal pull it, wrap in foil and then a beach or bath towel for at least an hour to rest. Even after 6 hours it will still be smoking hot.

It also freezes and reheats great... enjoy!

Yep, and depending on how many mouth watering folks you got to feed, should have plenty of leftovers for all kind of things.....
 
The butt turned out phenomenally. A friend was just out of the hospital after a 5 day stay for a perforated appendix, so the leftovers went over to help feed her hungry boys. I don't think the husband left any! Very good!
