We sort of. We made some elk burgers first which were epic.

Tried my hand at making baby back ribs on the bull Sunday. Incorporated my way into the 3-2-1 method. Without being full of myself, the ribs came out pretty wonderful (rather be lucky than good). I made some homemade BBQ sauce with some bourbon, honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, mustard etc. and finished in the smoke box for added smokiness. Recteq ultimate pellets seemed to do the trick.

The rub was commercial and an even mix of the three shown. Quite good.

Baked beans and some Cheez-It's for good measure.

A walk through via pictures:

Everything looks amazing.. love your setup. Still on the fence for a smokebox if I would use it.

How long did you put them in the smokebox for?

Looks like a great cook.

@sdynak - The ribs never made it into the smoke box. The homemade BBQ sauce did though. Added natural smokey flavor to the sauce. Complimented the ground dried Pasilla chili I added.
