First cook on my BFG

Just got my BFG all set up and let the girlfriend pick the first thing to go on it and she didn’t disappoint with picking Prime Rib. The BFG didn’t disappoint either. Took about 4 hours to get it up to 135 degrees then let it rest for 15 minutes. Unbelievably tender. Awesome.

nice choice on the bfg! great heavy duty grill and really a great value when you consider the heavy construction, comp cart, and shelf. prime rib looked good also, i think it’s important to not overcrowd a grill to get more even cooking. you definitely didn’t over crowd it!
