Trailblazer Fire pot keeps igniting.

I turned on to LT about 225 and fire pot ignited. I read up to see there were probably too many pellets in there but now can’t seem to restart without it reigniting. I’ve cleared the pot 3-4x and same problem. This is all same day so is it a mater of waiting it out? Any Ideas?

Not sure I understand what you're reporting. Pellets are supposed to burn (ignite) in the firepot - that's how the grill generates heat to cook. Are you seeing fire outside of the firepot?

it sounds like it is working correctly. what are you trying to accomplish? there is a test mode also. but i haven’t used it
