RT-1250 Fan noise

My 1250 just started making noise, a short, intermittent whine, every 3 seconds or so, coming from what maybe is the motor connecting the small white fan on the back side. Any thoughts on what it really is? Also the motor assembly is loose.

The motor floats, i.e. not attached.

Thanks for responding. What are motor floats?

That is the auger motor feeding pellets into the fire pot.. it floats meaning it is not bolted down. Just pinned through the shaft so it will have wiggle to it. This is 100% normal.
