Realistically, you need the 590. But you’re always gonna want the 700. I have a 700 and then a year ago bought the 380. A little itty-bitty 380. Do you know what I cook on 99 cooks out of 100? The 380. It doesn’t take 45 minutes to heat up. It cooks beautifully. I’d go with the 590 here.

I see a 1070 and a 1070 with cabinet. Assume they are the same thing, just 1 has a cabinet. Can I take that to mean that I could get it with cabinet for now, and if we decide to build it into an island later, we could?

I'd go with the 1070 cabinet model, I wish it was available when I got my 590.

Did end up going with 1070 with cabinet.

It has the highest WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) by far. Even she was saying get the bigger one or you’ll end up having grill envy & wish you’d gotten the bigger one.

Who says size matters Sounds like a great choice. Hopefully the wait won’t be long. Also, your wife was correct and sounds like a keeper.
