Can anyone tell me if cycling on and off is normal. It doesn’t do it often so we haven’t been able to determine a pattern to figure out why it does it. Thank you!

Yes it is normal for it to cycle at lower temps. Drove me nuts when that happened.

I had the same concern the first time I set it at low. I went inside to wait for it to come to temp and when I went back out it was fan cycling every couple of minutes. After an hour of low for extreme smoke, I bumped it up to 200 and went to bed. Didn't notice it after that. :)

Fan-cycling happens on my 340. Happens at low temperature settings in particular (as others have said). The other variable seems to be air temperature. Combination of low-temp setting and hot air (summer) makes it harder for the controller to regulate. It bothered me at first, but seems normal behavior. Happens way less in winter time (which is most of the year in Wyoming).
