Grill(s) owned
  1. Bullseye
  2. RT-300
Bought a new bullseye with wifi and had previously owned an rt 340 and an rt 700. I have enjoyed my grills but this new one will burn pellets back into the auger tube when grill is tuned off. Next start up you have to turn grill on and off three times to get fresh pellets into pot so grill starts. Has anyone has the problem with new improved bullseye?

I don’t have a new Bullseye, but have made a practice (recommended by RT) of dropping a handful of pellets into the burn pot on the RT-340 before starting up. That provides enough fresh fuel for the ignitor to get things going without a problem. Might work on the new RT-380X as well.
