Bullseye Deluxe lid stop

Has anyone been able to rig the Bullseye Deluxe lid from opening all the way.
For us that aren’t 6’5” reaching across the grill to grab the lid handle is a dicey situation.

I’ve installed a bicycle handlebar stem to the lid handle to give me something closer to my reach but I hate the look.

I’m looking for something I can put on the hinge or similar to limit how far the lid can open.

From the factory it looks like the lid opens to about 120deg. I’m thinking opening to about 75deg would be perfect.

Would love any suggestions.

I've bought a few items from him over the years and it's all quality stuff. He tends to make things in batches so not everything is in stock all the time. I have the extension handle for my 380 and love it.

Thanks I found his stuff in another post and of course my luck he has sold out of the extension handle.

I also read on this site Recteq is redesigning the lid to open left to right vs front to back. That would be a perfect solution. Maybe the design will allow it retrofitting grills already out there.
