BFG auger motor in the RT-700. It's awesome!

1070 has the 3 rpm motor. Does it make a difference? You bet!

New to this thread, not sure if it's even active... I put in the 3 rpm auger motor from smokedaddy, had to push the auger in about 3/4 inch towards hopper, put a steel shim underneath in place of the bracket. Runs fine, MFR set at 20, no temp offset, held 180, held 200, 250 steady. Cold start (from 39F) was about 5 min to 200, then ran up on FULL and hit 599 within 12 more mins. Got scared and backed it off. The 3 rpm auger motor is a winner!
