I just replaced my ignitor rod, and cleaned out the auger while I was at it. Now when I try to start it back up the auger runs for about a minute, and shuts off before the ignitor catches. It sounds like the auger is turning fine. Any suggestions?

Try putting a hand full of pellets in the fire pot and then restart the grill.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. The auger motor still shut off, but the ignitor stayed lit and burned pellets back into the auger. I'm wondering if I have a bad controller.

Did you possibly hook up the auger motor connection to the ignitor connection by accident when you did the install? Just thinking of possibilities.

Agree to reach out to Recteq support but why was the ignitor replaced? Was it not working or did you have other problems?
