Bull 40lbs? Are we sure?

Can anyone confirm the Bull can hold 40lb of pellets? I only do 20 at a time and it doesn’t seem like I could put in 40.

when mine was new and empty i did put the full 40lb bag of recteq pellets in. it was full to the lid but closed. but it was so full i had to level it across the width to fully close. so its exactly a 40lb hopper 41lbs probably hold it open 1/2 in

Yep. I fit a 40# bag of RT pellets and also PitBoss. Some pellets are also more dense than others.

Not sure, but I've never filled it all the way. 20lbs at a time just makes sense and works for me. I don't want to have to clean out 40lbs if something went wrong with the auger

Yes sir I can confirm. 40 pounds fits in the hopper without any issue.

My 340 holds about 20 lb. I run it down almost to the auger, push all the dust down and do a full cleaning of everything.
