I'm ordering a 590 in the next few days and was planning on ordering a sear kit with it. I've been reading that a lot of people turn them 90 degrees to keep grease from running down the body and missing the drip pan. Has anyone tried wrapping the end inch (or whatever it takes) in aluminum foil or something to direct grease back toward the drip pan. Or is there a downside to just getting the shorter kit for the 340 instead of the kit sized for the 590?
