I'm looking to pull the trigger on a 2500 to pair with my 1250 because I need a bit more space.
Before I do, can anyone recommend another smoker pellet or not in the 2500 dollar range with the space cooking area?

Any issues I should know of with the 2500?

Thank you

Johnny

I have posted a few times on various aspects of my BFG 2500. I have given my honest observations and opinions. Do a search and they will show up (that way I am not rehashing a bunch of info.

Mine has survived 3 major hurricanes outside with a cover tied on, cooked over 3500 lbs of brisket since January of this year, been used for chicken, ribs, pork butts, and plate ribs. It does everything well.

I went through 5 different brand and design pellet grills in 3 years before settling on the BFG. In my opinion it is hands down the best value for money and also the best "large scale" (it will handle 10 full packers at a time) pellet smoker on the market (at a sub 5000 dollar price point). It is not ultra high tech but the technology it has is perfect for the job.

Thank you everyone! I went ahead and took the plunge. Going to kick myself though if the price goes down even more before end of year. I believe that's what happen in 2021 or 2022 when I purchse my 1250 iirc.

Can't wait!
