    Seasoning Recteq stainless steel BBQ trays before first use and periodically after?

    Is it helpful to season (with high-smoke-point oil [or?]) the Recteq SS BBQ trays? I know that it is not the same as seasoning cast iron as a way to both protect the iron and add flavor for subsequent cooks, but does leaving a "patina" on SS help with clean up and flavor? Kind regards, MOTJ
