burn-in

Newbie here. Just got my Recteq 590. Set it up, filled hopper, small handful of pellets in the chamber. Set temp to 400. Started smoking early and then zero smoke. Is this normal or should I see tbs?

I'm expecting my the Bull to be dropped off tomorrow so hopefully I'll have it put together and can do the initial burn in by the end of the day. I'm planning on doing the wheel mod discussed here as I put it together. Question: after the initial burn-in at 400 degrees for an hour, should I...
