Brine Question- Dry brined a 5# pork belly this week for bacon. Recipe called for 2 tsp Prague #1. First time brining and just researched only 1 tsp for 5 # pork. Any danger in using twice that amount??
Spending too much time watching the weather to make sure my Bull is covered in the event of rain. It's under a 5X8 canopy which is useless in a driving rain. Anyone have experience with their hopper staying dry or leaking water uncovered in rain? Same concern with my new Bulleye.
200# pellets arrived during a torential driving rain. 5 boxes soaked and bags were wet at least on the outside. There were small holes in the bags so I could only assume some of the pellets got wet. RT says don't use and I agree, but wondered if anyone would toss all or save those pellets that...
