Has anybody else been getting a message your grill has reached temperature when you have not turned it on? This has happened several times to me and scares the S..t out of me every time!!! I go to the app and the grill is indeed off!
I have had my 700 over 3 years now and knock on wood have not had an issue with the App! I like the 40 lb pellet capacity since all I use is the competition blends. Also I have noticed that in the last few months updates to the app have been coming on a regular basis unlike in the past...
I was in Samsclub the other day and noticed they have a Blackstone look alike under their brand name! Construction was not up to RecTeq standards, but still looked nice!
I had the same issue as DesertRat with erratic temperatures. Customer service had me check the nuts and I found both were loose ! Tighten them both up and end of problem!
After emailing Lumber Jack customer service with a question on if they make Cabellas pellets they responded with a "yes" answer! So if you have a Bass Pro or Cabelas nearby it is an option!
If I want a smoky flavor I run my Bull at 180 for 30-60 minutes and then crank the heat up for chicken. Takes a little bit longer, but it gives me time for an extra beer!
I have to agree with Roaniecowpony, it sounds like you have signal strength issue! I have the older Bull that came with a small antenna and once I changed antennas I have stopped having issues! I bought this antenna on Amazon, easy to install!

Cannot seem to find a definitive answer in any poston this, so does anyone know how many BB ribs a Bull will accommodate ? I also have the RecTeq Upper shelve and do the ribs cook at a different rate on the top shelf. I know some of this depends on the size of the racks.
