    Bullseye Bullseye Leaks Grease

I made a PaPa Murphy's deep dish pizza on the 380 that comes with an alum. pan and now I have the perfect sized drip pan that I use over and over. I always use a drip pan and never have had a grease fire. I also run it on riot mode for cleaning, it turns it all to ash for easy cleanup. There is...

RT-1250 Pellets/wood on the heat deflector?

I use small chunks of wood around the deflector on my 380 for added smoke when I want it, works great. A small amount of white ash on the deflector when finished, not a problem. I run it riot mode after each cook to turn everything to ash for easy cleaning.

Bullseye Cleaning solution for Bullseye RT-380

Leave the inside alone, that's seasoning. I wipe the outside down with a stainless cleaner to keep the shine and the patina. Mine is starting to look like a copper kettle. I also leave the black around the vents, that's a losing battle, after all it's a smoker/grill, not a car or a boat.

Bullseye What has everyone is the best offset for Bullseye?

17, because it was always running hot. Now it runs within 5 degrees of two other thermometers that I used to check it @ 225 degrees and no, the others were not meat probes.

    Bullseye Seasoning inside of bullseye

After cooking a pork butt, ribs and some other fatty meat then running riot mode for 15 minutes after each cook, it gave me a shiny black lid and part of the barrel. I always use a drip pan and have not experienced a flame up, riot mode turns all the grease into black ash that is easy to clean...

That must be old, there are no Recteq grills listed on Amazon now, just the usual basement dweller wannabes..

    Bullseye B-380 Lid Hinge

What Zueth stated is in fact a true thing. I called Recteq this a.m. and the rep said that is how the hinge works; When open you have pull up slightly on the lid to get it out of the upright position. It would be nice if that was stated in the user's guide. My problem though was for the first...

    Bullseye B-380 Lid Hinge

well that sounds like a good idea but I could not find that anywhere nor did anyone I talked to at Recteq this morning mention any thing like that. I will call them tomorrow and ask that very question and get this settled for sure. Go Cougs!

    Bullseye B-380 Lid Hinge

Received an email from Recteq early this morning; Your hinge is on the way. Recteq does make it right, and quickly.

    Bullseye B-380 Lid Hinge

Have any of you B-380 owners had trouble closing the lid because of the hinge binding? When the lid is open I pull straight up on the handle in order to close it, it will not close otherwise. It is binding somehow and I am afraid of breaking the hinge or warping the lid or barrel. I double...

    Heffer Dust

Used it for the first time last night on flat iron steak, we both loved it. The B380 on lo and smoke until120 and then on Grill Grates in Riot Mode. Good stuff!

Checking in from south Puget Sound WA.

New to Rectec but not to pellet grillin'. Sold my GMG when I sold my home and downsized to apt living (no grilling allowed) . Finally found a nice place that allowed small gassers and small pellet grills! Now I am back in the game with the B-380, small but big enough for cooking for two.

There is no place for the grease to go but the heat plate and bottom of the grill. Easily fixed by using drip pans under the grate for cooking anything with fats in it. It works for me, the only fire in my B-380 in in the fire pot.

    Pellets choice

When I first started pellet grilling with a Traeger Jr from Costco (which I quickly returned) and on to a GMG Danial Boone, I quickly became a pellet snob. I read and believed most everything I read on the Pelletheads forum. I went on the search for the best pellets there was available and...

    Bullseye High Lift Hinge

It's all very nice but... it is sorta like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear with the cart and all. If I could afford the $1200 + I would have bought RT 700 in the first place. I always wanted a Rectec grill so I bought the one I could afford and the right size for cooking for...
