    Has anybody ever seen this…

I actually plugged a probe into the B port and the temp dropped to 29 and when I pulled it out it went back to 697. WTH? 😂

    Has anybody ever seen this…

I fired up the Bull to roast some Hatch Chiles I had shipped from New Mexico and it seems to think probe B is plugged in when it obviously isn’t. Any fix for this issue?

    Armadillo Eggs

We do something similar down South but call them Atomic Buffalo Turds or ABT's https://www.theblackpeppercorn.com/atomic-buffalo-turd-jalapeno-poppers-aka-a-b-t/

    First brisket…

Only the first two hours were at 225°....most of the cook was at 250°....Late afternoon I bumped it to 275°......It just never got to temp. I think it was 191° when I pulled it due to time constraints. I should have just smoked a flat given the time frame I had to work with. Live and learn....

    First brisket…

Next time for me will be either back to my BGE or the offset stick burner.

    First brisket…

It was fine, but took longer than I expected. By the time it hit temp I didn’t have time to do the burnt ends from the point. This was my first whole packer brisket and frankly I consider it a fail because I was really looking forward to those burnt ends. I hope I at least learned something…

RT-700 Grill Cover a Piece Of Garbage

I posted in an earlier thread that I’ve had no problems getting the cover on and off but your post literally has me laughing out loud because I’m a structural engineer! :ROFLMAO:

    First brisket…

We eat late (around 9-9:30 cst) every night. That gives me over 14 hours….Hopefully that’s enough time. The pork butt (8 Lb) last weekend took 12.5 hours so I am a little nervous. This thing is more like an oven than a grill to me. 😏

    First brisket…

Hopefully I didn’t start too late for dinner. Rolling at 225°f….

    Question after burn in…

Bull quickly reached 400 and stayed almost dead on temp but did hit 404 before settling back on 400. Before I started I put roughly 1/4 cup of pellets in the fire pot like instructions suggested. Do you still have to put a 1/4 cup in fire pot before every cook? 8lb pork butt for first cook...

I hope I’m not stripped of my RT-700 for this but

I did the same thing. I'm not proud of it, though. 😂

700 Cover - Epic Fail, just venting

My bull is brand new. I haven't even made my first cook or even done the burn-in but I had zero problems getting the cover on. Maybe they listened and made the newer covers bigger...I don't know. I did remove the drip bucket and started on the stack side. Easy peasy...

    The Bull has arrived..

Finally got it put together. Planning on a whole brisket this weekend while we relax around the pool. I’ll have to find some help to get her up on the back deck, though.

    The Bull has arrived..

I still haven't put my Bull together. After reading this forum and seeing a 20 page thread about changing out the auger motor I'm wondering if mine is already obsolete? :ROFLMAO:......Going to try and build mine this afternoon.

The box was strapped to a pallet and the driver took it off for me. Hopefully everything is in good shape inside...
