I’m thinking of selling my 590 and need some input on what it’s worth. It’s just over a year old, perfect condition, comp cart, folding shelf, and never used cover. Had been kept in garage.
Well it’s not a holiday and I have no notifications whatsoever on my IPhone. Have restarted to no avail. Everything else working fine. Trying not to be aggravated!!
I have been using Head Country Sweet and Spicy rub and like it. Was wondering if anyone else has used it and how it compares with Meat Church and Recteq rubs. The latter cost twice as much as the Head Country and just wondering if it’s worth it.
It’s 75 degrees here in Oklahoma after an ice storm last week! Inspired me to fire up the 590. Started up and ran perfectly after a couple months off. And get this: the app hooked right up and worked perfectly. Even the notifications! They haven’t worked in a long time. Doing some hot links...
This may seem an unusual question but I was wondering if anyone had had a problem with ground beef from Walmart. A while back my daughter started claiming that Walmart ground beef was making her sick. I’m not talking about a one time deal but every time she ate it. She noticed her stomach...
Did some ribs yesterday and the notifications on the new app were crazy. Kept telling me temp was low when it was actually high and the other way around also. Seemed to stop completely for awhile then came back. Everything else worked fine. Anybody else have this problem?

I want to run my 590 dry of pellets to clean dust out of hopper and auger tube. Proper procedure please. I think I know but want to be sure I’m doing it right
Thanks!
I’m tired of foiling the damn drip tray! Don't want to start a foil/don’t foil argument, just want to try scraping. What is best scraper to use
Thanks!
My 590 doesn’t seem to drain very much into the bucket. No problem with grease fires. I do use foil on the drip tray. I put a half inch piece of plywood on the right side and it seemed to drain a little better. (Grill was level otherwise). Everything seemed to work fine. Anyone see any problem...
Well I did chicken thighs on the 590 today. I brined them for the first time for 2.5 hours. I smoked them for an hour at 180 and then cooked them at 275 to an IT of 173. I did not flip them. I let them rest for an hour. It was the juiciest tastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten! BUT…the skin was...
