I got the ignitor in the mail last week and took the time to install it yesterday.
I followed the video on the web site and the process was simple.
Grill is back up and running.
Well that was fast, I submitted a request on the website, I got an email a few minutes later, called in and they ran me through a few tests on the grill and confirmed the ignitor is bad. They are sending a new one in the mail.
I have the Joule and love it, I bought a small and large container to use with it and both came with a lid. (one was Rubbermaid I believe and the other LIPAVI)
I couldn't imagine not having those, I also bought LIPAVI racks which work great and also could not imagine not having them.
I like it...
The last few times i have started my Bullseye the pellets do not light up and i have to start the pellets with a torch.
The grill is about 1 year old, has anybody else ran into this?
I have read most of this thread and am still not sure what to do.
I purchased the 3RPM months and months ago from RecTeq for my RT-700 but have yet to install it.
What is the consensus, should I install it or wait and try to get a 2.5 RPM?
Thanks.
Friday night it was simple, cooked two Family size Pizzas from Papa Murphy's.
Saturday Night, I smoked three RibEyes for about 70 minutes at 180, then onto the BullsEye pre-heated at 500 for 2 minutes aside.
Sunday Night, I made three racks of BB, Pork and Beans, Sausage on the BE, and Instant...
The goal is that the bullseye is best for hot and fast and it doesn’t cook indirect like my RT 700 but if I have a small cook and want to cook low and slow I have heard this helps big time.
I am doing some ribs this weekend and want to smoke some store bought sausage at the same time. What has everybody found is the best? Should I grill for a few minutes on each side first before I smoke it ?
