I finally got it to within 15 degrees accuracy, that's the best it has done. If only I could get it to get to and stay around 225 I would be happy. The lowest it will go and stay steady is 260. It's too late to return it so I will live with it but if I ever buy another pellet grill, it will not...

I like having the griddle for the Matador. It has heat zones, I can use a large section in the middle to do the cooking, then move things to the outside where is will stay warm and not burn while cooking something else towards the middle. It has lots of real estate, use it wisely.

I have tried a few I have tried a few, Hefer Dust, Honey Rib Rub, & Asian Persuasion. All of them were great!
