Bonless prime rib roast...need some expert advice.

I plan on doing that as well. What temp did you use and how large was the roast and your cook time?

Bonless prime rib roast...need some expert advice.

I have done a standing Rib Roast on my Weber Kettle grill over the past 5 Christmas' and it has turned out perfect. This year, I hope to use the RT700 this Christmas Eve but will roast it at 375. If you try 225, it will take a long while and honestly, I have no idea what that will look like...

    Costco Failed Me

I smoked a trimmed 16+ pound Choice Brisket and a 11 pound pork shoulder at the same time in my RT700 last Saturday. I normally go to a local meat distributor and buy only fresh never frozen meats for smoking and that was the case this time. I was however shocked at the price of the Brisket...

Bull FYI on Blower Fan replacement and install

I don't know why Wisconsin winters would impact just the blower motor. I mean it had warmed into the 70's when I first tried to use it. Also, if these smokers are as good as they say, I would expect it to function after a 4-5 month lay off. Moving 300+ lbs of smoker into my already crowded...

Bull FYI on Blower Fan replacement and install

2 weeks ago I brought my RT700 out of hibernation from this past winter. I'm in Wisconsin and it was on the deck, covered, all winter after being winterized (Pellets removed, vacuumed, cleaned up). I wanted to smoke a rack of baby backs and soon learned that my blower fan was not working. I...

    Ordered an RT-700 last night...

You're gonna love your RT700. I bought mine last spring as a retirement gift to myself. The tundra is thawed up here and I'll be cranking her up shortly. Overnight smokes are the best!

    Stampede Total pellet clean out?

I just did this for my RT700. One thing I found was that the Auger does not run continuously. It shuts off after 10-15 seconds. I had to cycle back out of it and re-enter test mode multiple times to finally clear the auger.

    Competition Cart Purchase?

I bought my RT700 back in April. Less than 2 months later I was ordering a replacement castor wheel. This 700 is on my wooden deck, but even that seems to be a bit tough on them. I would like to try the wheel mod but see that those of us with newer smokers (the new legs) are more difficult to...
