Unlike the rest of the Nation here in the Phoenix, AZ area they declare no burn days. This is to include any wood burning ie.; Fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, etc. anything that burns wood. So they just enacted this rule for the next 3 days. I had planned to grill Saturday on my "wood Pellet Rec...
I was under the impression that dials (or up / down arrow) lowest setting is 225, that when you put it on the "lo" setting it will run at 180 to 200 degrees. I tried "lo" once and it never went above 200 degrees. this is on my rt-b380 bullseye.
You are really going to enjoy it. there are so many different ways to cook on it and unlimited Recipes to try just on this forum alone. Looking forward to watching posts.
So far I have been lucky to not have the problems described above. Here is what I do: I start the grill with the lid open, it doesn't make a difference at what temp I decide to start with. I let it run for 5 minuets then close the lid and let it come up to temp, most temps are up to temp in 15...
Well I have to say Rec Teq once again has shown to me that their customer service is a 5 STAR Plus. We conversed back and forth on email and talk about the best way to repair. At that point I was very satisfied but no, they went above and beyond and compensated me with an accessory of my...
SmokeZilla is right on the money. It takes a lot of training and experience to weld Stainless steel. When I used to work in the copper mines we always had a very specialized group come in to weld our pipes. we only used stainless steel or Teflon pipes. unknown most people copper mines use a lot...
My bullseye is almost one month old, only did a burn in and cook some chicken thighs then this happened. see attached pictures. Called Rec Teq and then sent them my pictures. With a three hour time difference i expect to hear from them by Monday. Has anyone ever had this happen on any of their...

Right when I thought I had a handle on todays technologies this gets thrown at me. Yes it took me two days to understand it and get it working but with that being said I am impressed with the fact that now I can grill with the big boys using wifi. I know I can not control the grill from my...
Can someone clue me in on Auger speed on the bullseye? is there an adjustment or is it now done automatically with the new controller. I can not find any info in any of my manuals or online. Thanks
well my new unit will here tomorrow I will give some updates on once I start cooking. I like most of the reviews on it and hope it makes me a better bbq'er. I don't have the experience of slapping a butt and saying yea thats done.
Thanks for the info, I called my local FireHouse Sub and they had one available so I went over and got it plus a large Steak sub. win win. It is a really nice bucket and I will be getting a few more. Plus a few more subs. Thanks.
