    Congrats and great job on the shelf. I was going to chime in but it seems that the other members gave you good advice. I sealed my door all around with Oklahoma joe’s gasket from Lowe’s. and I don’t have any leaks. Enjoy!

    It looks like the wood shelf is going to work out for you. I used scrap material that I had left from other projects. I cut mine about 1/4” less than the cart finished measurement . Good luck , post picture of finish .

    I installed expanded metal prior to assembling cart. I took 1/4” off the measurement provided above. I also got the idea from the above members. Thanks again. You were very helpful.

    Syd, sorry I can’t help with your question. There are other options you may want to look into. I use high temp sealant (lava rock) there are no leaks and the vents are tight after sealant cured.

    I used a pine step sold at HD for around $11. Purchase 10” stainless brackets at amazon $19. Door knobs for hanging utensils.     I would like to thank everyone who have posted suggestions ,pictures for the RT-590. I built a shelf ,installed expanded metal in cart, made a rack for power cord, high temp gasket on door and vents and an extra rack Incase more space if needed. THANK YOU!
